About the Brand
HØST & VÅR is a Norwegian sustainable brand, created in 2020, by mother and daughter team Elsa Fredrikke Nedrebø & Gunn Auglend Nedrebø.
Høst & Vår means “Autumn and Spring” in Norwegian and refers to this pairing of mother and daughter. Their loving bond and shared passion for fashion is built into every garment making sustainable, fun fashion for anyone to enjoy.
Our vision is to create garments which are feminine, bold and colorful with unique fabric patterns. We want to create garments that speak of personality, confidence, a spirited sense of happiness and a creative connection with the world. Items are all cross-seasonal, cross-generational, conscious, cruelty-free and as far as possible sustainable. We know that sustainability is a big claim and it is almost impossible to be 100% sustainable but we are doing our best to be as close as possible.
What Is Your Inspiration for This Season’s Collection?
The inspiration behind the “Flowers From My Garden” collection is the representation of a new season. A season filled with sunshine, the smell of the ocean, clear blue skies, unforgettable moments shared with near and dear ones, the sound of bees in the morning, blooming flower fields and freshly cut flowers from the garden. Beautiful colors, playful prints and elements of joy.
The collection features Vegan biodegradable fabrics and fabrics with lower impact/sustainable attributes including cupro, organic cotton and recycled polyamide.
